The Accordion Museum simplifies its process during the Montmagny International Accordion Festival
During the Montmagny International Accordion Festival, nearly 80 artists from all around the world are invited to perform in front of the audience. The presence of so many people requires the Carrefour team to organize meals for them during the three days of the festival.
To facilitate organization, the Carrefour has enlisted a caterer to provide meals for the artists. However, this setup posed challenges for the team in monitoring meal usage, particularly as not all artists required meals daily.
The Montmagny International Accordion Festival needed a user-friendly tool that would allow them to track how many people came to eat.

The Accordion Museum uses digital technology to accompany its visitors
The Montmagny International Accordion Festival, known as the 'Carrefour mondial de l'accordéon,' has been in existence since 1989. This internationally renowned event even contributed to the creation of the Accordion Museum in 1992. Since its first edition, the festival has hosted nearly 80 artists from all around the world each year.
In its previous editions, the Accordion Museum offered visitors the option to sign up for a newsletter through a booklet. However, the institution wanted to change this mode of operation for ecological reasons and in the spirit of accessibility.

A point of interest contains multiple activities
Contrary to appearances, it's not always the residents of a neighborhood who know it best. Often, those who live there are not aware of the tourist potential of their neighborhood. For this reason, Tourisme Montréal, the Société de développement de l’Avenue du Mont-Royal, and the City of Montreal had the idea to develop a project to give the residents of Plateau-Mont-Royal the pleasure of rediscovering their neighborhood in a playful and fun way.
The idea is to allow citizens to visit their neighborhood as if they were tourists, with a fresh perspective. The goal is to enable them to discover the cultural and commercial aspects of their neighborhood by learning more about what surrounds them.
To carry out this project, they chose to use the product from MySmartJourney to bring their ideas to life.

Promotion Saguenay offers a digital welcome to cruise ship passengers
The Saguenay port receives a large number of visitors throughout the year arriving by cruise ships. In 2019, the port welcomed nearly 60,000 visitors. The pandemic has impacted its activities, and for two years, there was a halt in the arrival of cruise ships.
In 2021, with the return of cruise ship passengers, Promotion Saguenay, an economic development company responsible for tourism and the development of international cruises, wanted to rethink the welcome for these visitors passing through with limited time.
How to provide easy access to up-to-date information on activities to do in the surroundings?

The Accordion Museum enhances an exhibition through digital means
Since 1992, the Accordion Museum has been a cultural institution guiding visitors in the discovery of this visually unique instrument. Boasting a collection of nearly 150 accordions and other related instruments, the museum showcases this cultural and musical heritage through a permanent exhibition launched in 2021, which the museum team chose to enhance by integrating a digital solution.

The Accordion Museum brings music into the classrooms
The Accordion Museum wanted to introduce music to a very young audience. For this, the team had the idea of sending instruments to 4-year-old kindergarten classes. The museum also wanted to enhance this experience with songs from a Quebec artist that could then be transmitted to parents and listened to at home.

A leisurely stroll with Les Fouines du Plateau
When a city tour is proposed, it is often through a downloadable application. Presented as a path to follow, it's not always a journey that encourages leisurely wandering at one's own pace. It rarely offers the freedom to stop and resume later.
Visitor freedom was a fundamental condition of the project for Tourisme Montréal, the City of Montreal, the Ministry of Culture and Communications, and the Société de développement de l’Avenue du Mont-Royal. They wanted to give visitors, whether tourists or local residents, the freedom to explore Plateau-Mont-Royal as they pleased.
To realize their vision, they chose to use the MySmartJourney product following a call for proposals.

Promotion Saguenay informs business clientele at the region's hotels
Saguenay plays host to numerous conventions and events, and boasts five convention centers, three of which can accommodate banquets of over 1,000 guests, as well as numerous hotels dedicated to business clientele.
The Promotion Saguenay team in charge of business, convention and sports tourism wanted to make life easier for this clientele, whose time is often limited. They came up with a solution to rethink their welcome.
