An activity devised by Îlot des Palais with a challenge: find the posters

A “Hunt and Seek” activity
To invite visitors to discover Old Quebec, Îlot des Palais came up with the idea of using the Géocaching technique. This is an activity in which participants are given clues and approximate coordinates or a map, leading them to find a treasure or additional information.
L'Îlot chose to use this technique for their “Old Quebec, Incredible Stories” experience.
Well-hidden dots
Their idea was to create a discreet, easy-to-hide support in Old Quebec. The supports take the form of a thin rectangle displaying the three classic entry points: short url, NFC chip and QR code. While the first point is easy to find, as it's used by l'Îlot as a means of explaining the experience, thereafter they can be found anywhere in the district.
The only clues to finding the other points are a phrase or photo, and the approximate location given on Google Map. This means that visitors have to look around to find their way to the next poster.
