Bringing Discovery to a Whole New Dimension

Aux Trois Couvents, a cultural, historical, and archaeological discovery center in the Côte-de-Beaupré region, wanted to introduce visitors to the town of Château-Richer in a completely new way, both educational and entertaining.

That's why the museum called on MySmartJourney to design a fun trail in the form of a Game of Snakes and Ladders, both real and virtual, thanks to its content accessible via a QR code.

A Fun Digital Trail in the Town

The concept was to create a digital trail in the town, in the form of a Game of Snakes and Ladders, with the town of Château-Richer as the game board. Goosy the Goose's mission is to help visitors find the hidden treasure. To achieve this, a terminal with a QR code has been placed at each point of interest, which visitors must scan when they arrive at the stop in question. On their phone, they must then answer the riddle posed by Goosy to continue their journey and reach the treasure.

If visitors have not previously visited the Trois Couvents reception area, access to the site is restricted and they are redirected to a combination requiring a secret code. Without this code, access remains blocked until it is entered.
