Moving from an in-house solution
Before using MySmartJourney to create a digital itinerary, the Edmundston Botanical Garden was already using an in-house digital solution. This allowed them to deploy audio, visuals and text in the Garden using QR codes. But this solution required constant maintenance and development costs to be borne by the Garden.
So why did the Botanical Garden choose to switch to MySmartJourney's solution?
To an external solution
With MySmartJourney, the Edmundston Botanical Garden found a really easy solution that allowed them to simplify their process. By leaving the development of the web application to an external supplier, they were able to reduce their operating costs.
What's more, use of the platform is shared among several Edmundston organizations, under the “Inspire” brand. This allows Le Jardin to share the cost of the digital platform among its partners.
