Informing Navette Nature passengers about destinations


Supporting passengers with digital technology
Navette Nature (NANA) is a company that offers bus trips to parks in Quebec. To better support passengers, NANA came up with the idea in late 2019 to enhance its transportation services by integrating MySmartJourney technology.
Deploying information in a bus
Posters enriched with QR codes, NFC chips, and short URLs were deployed in buses, below the windows. Passengers could interact with them to obtain information about their destination, as well as other locations offered by NANA. They could find out more about arrival times and the activities available at each location, enabling them to plan their next trip.
This means of communication replaces the traditional travel magazine usually offered on public transport.
