La Route des Navigateurs designs fun experiences

A constantly improving course
Signs equipped with QR codes and NFC chips have been installed along the route, inviting visitors to use their cell phones to scan a chip that will immerse them in different adventures. The initiative provides travelers with even more information, while highlighting the attractions along the route.
To make the discovery fun, tourism organizations came up with the idea of creating educational games.
Learning games that make discovery fun
In some places, scanning the interactive terminal prompts visitors to strike a pose in front of the landscape. Elsewhere, a quiz encourages visitors to carefully observe the surrounding heritage features. For example, to learn more about marine knots, a riddle invites users to find which knot represents a bowline knot. In addition, in a “search and find” format, participants must find the first name of the last miller-owner. Sometimes, a historical account of the place where you are located is also provided.
