Jean-Drapeau Park revitalizes its signage and showcases its heritage

Discover the park's hidden treasures
In the heart of Montreal, Jean-Drapeau Park, comprising Sainte-Hélène and Notre-Dame Islands, is brimming with cultural and historical treasures. To mark its 150th anniversary, the organization wanted to offer visitors an immersive and interactive experience, inviting them to step back in time and explore the site's iconic locations.
A journey through the history of Jean-Drapeau Park
Thanks to MySmartJourney, the park has transformed its signage to guide visitors while highlighting its history and heritage. The interactive “Le Voyage des îles” (Journey of the Islands) trail allows visitors to discover the park's hidden gems through panels equipped with QR codes and NFC chips.
Visitors can access archival images and captivating stories that recount the history of each iconic location. An interactive map completes the journey, facilitating navigation and listing all the attractions.
This innovative initiative makes Jean-Drapeau Park a place where exploration and learning come together, immersing visitors in an experience that is both educational and captivating.
