Facilitating young people's understanding of poetry

As part of its literature and poetry education projects, MySmartJourney has developed interactive experiences that allow participants to explore texts in an immersive way. A notable example is the project “Je te lance des je t'aime” (I throw you I love you), by Poésie Go! created in collaboration with a poet and CEGEP teacher. Designed for a young audience, this project aimed to facilitate the understanding of poetry and encourage young people to embrace it.

Encouraging reflection and appropriation

The project consisted of guiding students through an interactive journey where they discovered different poems and had to discuss them in small groups. Each stage invited collective interpretation, like a dematerialized literary guide.

Although this project remained at the demonstration stage, it highlights MySmartJourney's ability to structure an innovative educational approach around literature and art. This experience illustrates how content can be systematized to guide young people in their reflection and appropriation of poetry.
