The Alma Beer Festival connects visitors with information at the event

Make an event interactive
What if MySmartJourney could be used at a festival? That's what Marie-Pier Perron, co-founder of the Festival des bières d'Alma in the Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean region, wanted to do.
A festive event that reaches out across the region, it brings together a selection of brewers to showcase their excellent products to beer lovers. To enable visitors to learn more about the world of Quebec brewing at their own pace, the festival has created an interactive tour on the MySmartJourney platform.
Bringing a touch of fun and interactivity
A dozen panels, enhanced with QR codes, were installed as part of the event. By scanning them, visitors can discover the world of brewing at their own pace. On their phone, they have access to practical information about the event: the festival program, the site map, an FAQ. A brewery guide has been specially designed on the platform to accompany festival-goers on their tastings and guide them to the exhibitors. A digital quiz completes the experience to test their knowledge, as does a Selfie Booth to keep a souvenir of the event.
What's more, the digitization of festival information avoids the use and waste of paper on site.
