The Bellechasse MRC integrates Google Street View to visit its churches

Visit places of worship 24/7
The Bellechasse MRC has launched the Bellechasse aux clochers tour, an initiative that uses technology to highlight the richness and diversity of the region's religious heritage.
To compensate for the fact that tours are closed at certain times once visitors have arrived on site, the Bellechasse municipality has come up with a solution that allows visitors to discover its religious heritage at any time with a virtual tour.
Integrating Google Street View with MySmartJourney
The Bellechasse MRC opted for the MySmartJourney tool to enhance its project by integrating Google Street View functionality. Visitors can virtually explore the region's magnificent churches, discovering their architecture and history in an immersive and interactive way. By scanning a QR code, visitors can quickly access specific information about the place of worship, even if it's closed. They can also consult the MRC website if they are not on site.
This initiative aims to promote Bellechasse's cultural and historical heritage, offering a unique and enriching experience for tourists and local residents alike.
