The Hilton Québec Hotel wanted to offer children an immersive and fun experience tailored to different times of the year. Its goal? To provide an engaging activity that would allow them to explore the hotel while immersing themselves in the city’s history.

To meet this need, the hotel launched interactive scavenger hunts that change with the seasons: a year-round scavenger hunt, a Christmas elf hunt, and an Easter egg hunt.

The Hilton Junior Mission was designed as a digital scavenger hunt for young visitors. Armed with a game booklet and a digital device, children scan QR codes strategically placed throughout the hotel to access clues and solve puzzles.

Each stage of the quest allows them to:

• Scan QR codes to reveal clues and historical facts about Quebec City
• Explore the hotel and spot specific decorative elements
• Collect letters hidden around the objects they need to find
• Put the letters together to uncover the final SECRET CODE

An interactive game for learning while having fun

In addition to entertaining the children, this quest helps introduce them to the city’s history through captivating anecdotes. Meanwhile, parents can relax and enjoy the hotel’s other amenities.

Once the mission is complete, the young explorers hand in their secret code at the front desk and leave with a great reward.
