The PRISME Project at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts

Innovation in the age of the coronavirus
In 2020, MySmartJourney had the opportunity to join the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts’ PRISME program: the innovation lab for digital outreach. Through this lab, the company had the opportunity to develop three digital projects with new partners from the museum and digital sectors.
A collaboration between MySmartJourney and Ottomata
In collaboration with Ottomata and the J. Armand Bombardier Museum of Ingenuity, we launched an experience that combines floor projections and projections on a snowmobile with a QR code and a motion sensor.
Once again with Ottomata, but this time in partnership with the Montreal Science Center, the interactive bubble exhibit was reimagined as a contactless experience featuring a floor projection and a QR code that redirects videos to a smartphone.
Finally, in collaboration with Parks Canada and Ottomata, the combination of our technologies and expertise created a virtual excavation site, where visitors can discover artifacts through movement. QR codes lead to quizzes that unlock the rest of the experience. This component is also available while waiting in line, and a SelfieBooth wraps up the experience.
