The Route des Navigateurs adds an interactive experience to its tourist circuit

A tourist route along Route 132
Route 132 is a tourist route known as the “Route des Navigateurs.” Co-created by three tourism organizations—Tourisme Bas-Saint-Laurent, Tourisme Centre-du-Québec, and Tourisme Chaudière-Appalaches—this project offers nine different itineraries lasting from two to 12 days, with different themes such as romantic getaways, culinary tours, and cultural tours.
Supporting visitors with digital technology
These organizations had the idea of adding a digital dimension to the project. They installed terminals equipped with QR codes and NFC chips at specific points along the route. During their trip, travelers can access content that enhances their experience.
They can learn more about where they are, take quizzes, discover anecdotes and unusual facts, and be encouraged to pause their journey to enjoy the activities offered at the stop. A Google Map then allows them to discover the next point on the route.
