Tourisme Vernon takes its welcome desk to the streets

Where the People Are
Vernon, BC decided to close its brick-and-mortar tourist info office and put guides right out on the street. This is an excellent way to meet and greet tourists, answer their questions, and make sure they find what they’re looking for. But guides can’t be everywhere at once. What then?
MySmartJourney Never Sleeps
In addition to its cheerful, helpful staff, Tourism Vernon has a tour guide that can be there any hour of the day or night, giving out information to visitors. The welcome desk may have closed but now, it’s out among the people!
MySmartJourney guides and stimulates the curiosity of people looking to explore nearby hotspots, tells them how to get there, and points them to other sources of information such as the city’s website and those of the attractions themselves. Just scan the QR code with your phone and take it with you. Have a great time!
Wouldn’t your community benefit from a 24/7 digital tour?
