An immersive journey

The Horne Foundry Museum takes visitors on a journey to the heart of Canada's only copper smelter. They discover the secrets of the copper transformation process and the story of Edmund Horne, the prospector behind the discovery of the immense copper and gold deposit.

To bring its artifact exhibit even closer to life, the Horne Foundry came up with the idea of enhancing its exhibit with MySmartJourney technology.

Enhancing an existing exhibition

QR codes affixed to panels were scattered throughout the tour. By scanning them, visitors access rich, interactive content on the history of the Foundry, its construction, its manufacturing secrets and much more. Numerous archive images add a totally immersive dimension to the visit.
