Promoting the Route des Navigateurs
A revitalized route
The Route des Navigateurs, which runs along Route 132, already offers a number of tourist itineraries that allow visitors to discover the different regions the route passes through.
Kiosks enhanced with QR codes and NFC chips give way to a richer offering, and enable the two tourism organizations that co-created the experience, Tourisme Bas-Saint-Laurent and Tourisme Centre du Québec, to provide travelers with even more information, while highlighting the attractions the route passes through. It's another way of anchoring them to the region.
Interactive content
The content allows travelers to find out more about the place where the terminal is located. Communities such as Saint-François-du-Lac, Odanak and the Parc Eco Maritime de l'Anse-du-Port are highlighted. In the content, travelers can learn more about facts related to the St. Lawrence, such as the Pilotes du fleuve. They can also take souvenir photos thanks to a Selfie Booth and discover the Abenaki language.
