Quebec City airport uses digital technology to support its passengers
Passengers on hold
Quebec City airport receives a large number of passengers every year. These crowds are looking for places to eat, work, rest or just hang out. It's sometimes difficult for them to find all the information they need to get around the airport. Especially since travelers rarely want to stray far from their departure gate.
The airport therefore wanted to find a solution to easily inform them of the activities and areas available to them.
A map available directly on the phone
The airport came up with the idea of deploying posters enhanced with QR codes at strategic points in the space.
Thanks to colorful posters, illustrated by a character who invites visitors to scan the QR codes, they can not only obtain information about the airport, but also easily find what interests them. They can read where to find boarding gates, stores, restaurant timetables and menus, as well as available services and other practical information.
