The Accordion Museum uses digital technology to accompany its visitors
An event with high attendance
The Montmagny International Accordion Festival, known as the 'Carrefour mondial de l'accordéon,' has been in existence since 1989. This internationally renowned event even contributed to the creation of the Accordion Museum in 1992. Since its first edition, the festival has hosted nearly 80 artists from all around the world each year.
In its previous editions, the Accordion Museum offered visitors the option to sign up for a newsletter through a booklet. However, the institution wanted to change this mode of operation for ecological reasons and in the spirit of accessibility.
Easier access to information
For its 33rd edition, from September 2 to 4, 2022, the Carrefour mondial de l'accordéon deployed posters enriched with QR codes in the streets to provide its audience with direct access to its newsletter, ticketing, and program.
The solution creates a connection between various festival websites, allowing the audience to access the information they are interested in directly without the need for searching.
