From April 1 to 9, 2022, the Vanier Museopark hosted the Festival des Sucres. Originally, this was a face-to-face event. In response to the pandemic, the museopark decided to offer a virtual edition. The idea was to use MySmartJourney technology to create a sugar calendar inspired by advent calendars.

Create an activity with redirection

Behind a single URL link, participants discovered different content each day. To achieve this, the Museopark used the Redirection feature. Thanks to this feature, several different pieces of content are linked to a single page. Combined with a timer, the communications team was able to choose which content would appear on which day. In this way, all content could be prepared and corrected in advance. And during the Festival, the team didn't have to go back.

Over the five days of the event, participants were able to take part in a quiz on the history of the Festival, as well as discover new cooking recipes and be invited to take a photo for the best lumberjack competition using the Selfie Booth.
