Vanier Museopark offers a digital authors' trail
Enhancing an existing activity
The Vanier Museopark offers a free activity combining a walk in the forest and the discovery of Franco-Ontarian authors. The 30 interpretive panels are deployed in the Richelieu forest. Each panel features two authors and their respective works. The museum wished to enhance this experience by adding a digital dimension, with audio and textual content.
Discover Ontario authors
QR codes and NFC chips are now integrated into the panels. Behind each one, audios and videos let you find out more about the authors. A call to action allows visitors to discover literary works via the Regroupement des éditeurs franco-canadiens website. This allows the Museopark not only to deploy new audio content on the writers, but also to offer a more complete experience to its visitors.
Meet Father Germain Lemieux, Jean Ménard or Michèle Laframboise. They'll talk to you and accompany you on your walk through the forest!
