Innovation at the Complexe Desjardins

Connected shopping gallery
The shopping gallery of the Complexe Desjardins has been in existence since 1976. Originally conceived as a space for exchange and culture, the complex is always seeking innovation to better welcome and accompany those who visit. It also hosts temporary exhibitions in its spaces.
A three-faceted project
During the year 2020, the complex made the decision to integrate MySmartJourney technology into some of its projects.
It chose to enhance two cultural experiences, the Nuit d'Afriques festival and the exhibition 'Notre fleuve à vol d'oiseau' to add content to its offerings. The complex also came up with the idea of offering a virtual Santa Claus experience during the pandemic, accessible via videos available on the platform and through Zoom access. There was also a desire to highlight its shops and their history through texts and archival photos.
