An intelligent itinerary
Every year, the Renaissance Downtown Montréal hotel thanks its customers and partners during a special day called Global Day. During this day, visitors to the hotel receive exclusive offers highlighting the Renaissance's various partners.
In 2019, the hotel had the idea of using MySmartJourney to enhance this experience by adding a digital touch.
Enhancing the customer experience
Hotel guests, once they arrive in front of or inside the establishment, are invited to interact with a poster enriched with a QR code, an NFC chip and a short URL link. This gives them access to content that introduces them to the hotel's exclusive offerings, while learning more about its partners.
Five activities are offered by five participating partners, ranging from bars and spas to guided tours of the McCord Museum. This initiative enables the hotel to promote its offerings to guests in a dynamic way, while at the same time enhancing the value of its partners.
And to provide additional interaction, the hotel had the idea of integrating Facebook share buttons into the platform. These buttons enable guests to share the activity of their choice on the social network, while adding a hashtag, #discoverthisway.
