A multisensory journey at the J. Armand Bombardier Museum of Ingenuity

A collaborative innovation
As part of the PRISME program, MySmartJourney collaborated with Ottomata and the J. Armand Bombardier Museum of Ingenuity to create an interactive experience rolled out in fall 2020.
An experience centered around a museum artifact
This experience took the form of projections on the floor and on one of the objects in the museum's collection. Visitors interacted with the floor projection to activate the experience. A QR code projected on the floor allowed them to answer questions, and the correct answer activated a new projection, this time on a museum object. Once again, visitors played with the projection by moving their bodies and revealing the next part of the experience, for example by rubbing the snowmobile's porthole to make archival videos visible.
