No More Touch Equipment

No touching! Make your exhibition contactless!
The permanent exhibition included various types of touch equipment: a touch screen, an old-fashioned switchboard operator telephone, a radio with dial, etc. Management wanted to reopen the museum with all its multimedia content. What could they do with these devices?
Touch devices off-limits in a pandemic
Our solution makes it possible to transform any physical object into mobile, contactless interactive stations, including their telephone operator’s switchboard. It was originally intended to be listened on and handled by museum visitors. But that would mean, because of the pandemic restrictions, that it would have to be cleaned after every use...
Their audio guide also required regular updates, constant maintenance of content, and sanitizing after each use.
Because of COVID, these devices no longer meet health standards. They can be replaced easily, quickly, and cheaply by media with universal points of access (QR codes and NFC tags). Visitors use their mobile phones to access their content of choice. All touchless.
No more heavy interactive terminals! The time has come for light, reusable interactive media. These are real alternatives to traditional audio guides, kiosks, and GPS, the acquisition and maintenance costs of which are still high.
