Seconde Vie brings a multimedia experience to Quebec City

Dynamic City – Dynamic Exhibition
Québec City is demonstrating how it has changed—churches to libraries—and wanted to show it in a dynamic way, with its multiple-location exhibition Seconde vie. But would signage with textual and visual content succeed in arousing the emotions of participants? Would they feel the life in those buildings?
The Innovation of Interactivity
By scanning the MySmartJourney QR code found on the library’s signage, visitors gain access to multiple media presentations of new content, more dynamic than what can be read on a sign. More than hearing a story, visitors enjoy an experience.
You may choose to learn about the architectural transformation, how churches actually became libraries. You will no doubt want to hear from the people who were there, what they did and how they felt. These audio testimonies transmit emotion in their memories and confer a sense of ownership to modern city residents.

Located at the heart of community life, religious buildings lend themselves superbly to conversion into libraries. In this way, they retain their original vocation as places of gathering and exchange.
