Tourisme Bromont offers a Halloween scarecrow hunt in the streets of Bromont


Enhancing a Halloween activity
During the Halloween season, the City of Bromont invites downtown merchants to create a scarecrow for each other. The scarecrows are displayed around town. The public is invited to vote for their favorite.
In 2021, the tourist office had the idea of adding a digital side to the activity, and they chose the MySmartJourney solution to deploy their content in a fun way.
A hunt for clues
In the form of a clue hunt, the public is invited to find the “evil” scarecrow who is trying to stop Halloween. To save him, they are invited to scan QR codes placed near the scarecrows. Each one gives a clue and a quiz to identify the culprit.
At the end of the activity, a form invites participants to vote for their favorite scarecrow.
