Using displays to conceal information with Culture Trois-Rivières

A route in the form of an investigation and a clue hunt
Culture Trois-Rivières has chosen to highlight the 1908 Fire in a historical route combining a police investigation and a search for clues. The starting point is through an imposing structure installed in Pierre Boucher Square, but the investigation then takes place in a large part of the city of Trois-Rivières.
Concealing clues in the space
To give a dimension of clue hunting to their route, the Culture Trois-Rivières team chose to play with QR code supports.
Instead of visible signs, they chose to "hide" posters bearing QR codes and NFC tags in the landscape. These posters then lead to an audio and a text to provide a clue and also guide to the next point to find.
