Expanding access to tourist information
Tourisme Vallée-du-Richelieu has deployed 15 tourist terminals across its territory. Installed in each municipality of the region, they serve to showcase its attractions and activities available nearby.
In addition, the team wanted to develop another tool to improve communication between the tourism and cultural sector with the population, which would be accessible directly on the phone.
Access to a renewable web magazine
Displayed on the panels and in participating businesses, posters enriched with a QR code invite passersby to discover Mag Rurbain!
It is a virtual magazine that aims to be renewable throughout the seasons, to continuously offer the latest news and available information. It allows discovering new restaurants, ongoing theater performances, as well as other cultural activities of the season. The use of technology allows the tourism team to offer up-to-date and evolving content without having to change the display.
Two versions of the magazine are available. The first is accessible in places with waiting areas and offers activity suggestions, while the second highlights service businesses located near the panels.
