A city of historic jewels
To highlight Montmagny's cultural treasures, the town decided to design an immersive tour to share its history with residents. To achieve this, the idea of creating interactive heritage tours, guiding visitors through the town's historic sites, was born.
Creating interactive heritage tours
Posters have been put up around the city. You can find their locations on the Ville de Montmagny website. Each poster features a QR code that you can scan to learn more about Montmagny's history through its historic buildings and iconic figures. The marsh park, cemetery, chapel rock, aventis mural, archaeology site and other points of interest are highlighted. Audio, video, text and images enrich the discovery experience.
