Taking art outside the walls

Saint-Charles-Borromée wanted to showcase the town's cultural and artistic offering through its local players. The city came up with the idea of using the MySmartJourney solution in collaboration with the Musée d'Art de Joliette, taking art outside its walls.

Showcasing local artists

The Ville de St-Charles-Borromée has signed a promising first partnership with the Musée d'art de Joliette (MAJ) and has proceeded, among other things, to install a “living” urban mural that takes art out of the museum and makes it accessible to all. A community mural lets everyone express their creativity.

Interactive QR codes enable visitors and citizens to find out more about the graffiti mural project, with text, video and photo content presenting the origins of the project, the concept, the creative process and artist testimonials.

The city independently designed, created and integrated the interactive content on the MySmartJourney platform. Users can give their opinion on the content by filling in the integrated Google form, or by clicking on the “like” or “dislike” icon at the bottom of each page.
