Interactive exhibit ready in 10 days

When the government announced that museums could reopen at the end of May 2020, the Musée d’histoire de Sherbrooke needed its permanent exhibition to be within health guidelines… within one week!. Staff got to work right away, installing a digital, contactless, self-guided tour.

A solution that’s ready to go

We had our first contact with the museum on Wednesday, May 27. The following Monday, we signed the contract. The rest of the week was taken up with staff training. On Tuesday, June 9, the posters started going up for the exhibition opening the next day!

The posters were converted into interactive terminals and the public streamed in, using their phones to access their own cultural mediation..

In 10 working days, the museum director and his project manager integrated the multimedia content of the exhibition. They designed an audio-guided tour and set up mobile interactive stations, easily and without contact. They were able to quickly add historical content and fun quizzes, fully autonomously without any IT assistance..
