La Grande Ferme enhances its visitor experience

New France as you've never seen it before
La Grande Ferme is a historic site that allows visitors to discover life in the days of New France through a territory used by settlers since the 17th century. But it's not always easy for visitors to really understand the site.
To highlight this exceptional heritage and support its visitors, the Grande Ferme team came up with the idea of using a digital tool to create a touchless tour.
The technology used in the traditional world
In 2019, La Grande Ferme decided to use MySmartJourney's technology. The management decided to create an itinerary that would unfold both inside and outside the building.
Behind posters enhanced with QR codes and NFC chips, visitors learn more about the site and its history through photos and texts. They can also learn about the evolution of the built heritage and certain construction techniques.
