Edmunston Tourism relaunches the cultural sector

Reviving the cultural sector after COVID-19
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Edmundston's Centre des arts la Petite Église sought a way to revive the cultural sector in the city of Edmundston. To achieve their goal, they came up with the idea of creating a circuit that invites walkers to discover, or rediscover, a multitude of heritage and cultural sites, as well as the works of several local artists.
A circuit to discover Edmundston's artistic and cultural heritage
To set up the tour, they teamed up with the Edmundston Tourism Bureau. This enabled them to use the digital solution used by the latter for their project, and to join the “Inspire” brand image, which brings together projects from other partners of the tourist bureau.
Taking the form of an itinerary that unfolds throughout the city, the cultural circuit allows walkers to discover the history of churches, libraries or museums, as well as to linger over works of art scattered throughout the city as they wander.
To add interactive mediation to the project, the Arts Centre has chosen to offer quizzes, videos and archive photos in its digital capsules.
