Grand-Sault uses special signage to guide visitors

The municipality of Grand-Sault is developing its tourism potential
In the heart of New Brunswick, Grand Falls wanted to enhance the discovery of its municipality with digital technology. The idea was to create a 2.0 tourist circuit that gives visitors easy and efficient access to Grand Falls' tourist sites, historical landmarks, and hidden treasures through 20 interactive points enriched with a QR code.
In this context, how can these interactive points, located throughout the city, be made visible and easy to find for everyone?
An independent tour made interactive by technology
For the first time, the “Explore” project invites visitors to discover its urban heritage. Posters are installed along the route. A simple scan of the QR codes leads to information pages on the history of the city and its tourist attractions.
About 20 signs have been placed at strategic locations along the municipality's main streets and thoroughfares to provide clear and effective signage. These new posters, with reflective lettering and icons, will be easily visible to motorists day and night and will provide better guidance to attractions in the Grand Falls Regional Municipality. In this regard, a Google Maps map lists all points of interest with QR codes in the city.
