Showcasing La Rochelle's heritage with the PiXii Festival

A festival held in historic buildings
The PiXii Festival combines a digital experience with the discovery of La Rochelle's heritage. It was important for the city to be able to showcase its heritage buildings and let the public discover them. The MySmartJourney solution was used to create a tourist trail at the same time as the festival route.
Discovering heritage while having fun
The idea was to place several choices for visitors behind the QR codes used for PiXii. While they're waiting their turn to do an activity, they can have fun taking a quiz about the building in front of them.
Created with content owned by the La Rochelle tourist office and made fun by the MySmartJourney team, the quizzes invite visitors to look around and answer multiple-choice questions. You can learn more about the town hall, the Chain Tower or the Church of Saint-Sauveur. Small gifs and images add a fun twist to the games, aimed at all ages.
