Facilitating communications with parents

Every year, the Town of Saint-Charles-Borromée offers a day camp for over 500 youngsters during the summer. It's a unique living environment where personalized supervision is provided by a qualified team.

This year, the city has chosen to use its Facile à vivre! application, originally designed for a digital tour of the city, to offer a new, simple and paperless communication platform for parents, designed in collaboration with MySmartJourney.

Information to go

The platform sends essential reminders, general messages and activity-related announcements, while also allowing animators to be highlighted and summer memories to be shared. Urgent communications remain available by e-mail, as do private exchanges.

Parents can access the platform by scanning a QR code printed on a plastic card handed out on the first day of camp. This card is constantly updated in real time to adapt to last-minute changes and keep the programming up to date day after day.
