A creation by volunteers from the Port of Quebec

How to respond effectively to visitors
Many visitors arrive at the Port of Quebec by cruise ship. Many people from abroad, interested in the history of their ancestors, arrive in North America through Quebec. Port employees have often been asked quite specific questions about the port and the travelers who have passed through it.
Port employees decided to conduct volunteer research in the archives to answer these questions.
Recognition of the work of volunteers
Using the information gathered from the archives, these employees came up with the idea of creating a rally to allow passing visitors to discover the Port, as well as what their ancestors may have experienced and seen upon arriving by boat. This titanic research effort was subsequently recognized by the port authority, which ensured that this paper rally could be repeated every year and could survive the pandemic by switching to a digital format.
